Available languages: English, Français Yamaha MusicCast is a multi-room audio system that lets you access all of your music from a simple app and wirelessly stream it throughout your home. MusicCast is built into a wide range of Yamaha audio products, including AV receivers, stereo receivers, sound bars, and wireless speakers. You can now control your MusicCast devices with voice commands using Google Assistant. The following are some things you can try: Hey Google, turn on the Kitchen. Hey Google, turn off the Kitchen. Hey Google, turn up the volume on the Kitchen. Hey Google, turn up the volume by 20 on the Kitchen. Hey Google, turn down the volume on the Kitchen. Hey Google, turn down the volume by 20 on the Kitchen. Hey Google, set the volume to 50% on the Kitchen. Hey Google, mute the Kitchen. Hey Google, unmute the Kitchen. Hey Google, switch the Kitchen to Spotify. Hey Google, play on the Kitchen. Hey Google, stop on the Kitchen. Hey Google, pause the Kitchen. Hey Google, play next song in the Kitchen. Hey Google, play previous song in the Kitchen. Hey Google, restart song in the Kitchen. To get started: (If you have already set up your MusicCast device(s), start from step #2) 1. From within the MusicCast app, follow the "Add New device" setup process for all MusicCast devices. It is recommended that you choose from the default room name list in the MusicCast app; each room should have a different name. During the setup process, you will be prompted to create or sign in to a Connect ID account (Note: this is different than Yamaha My Account on usa.yamaha.com). 2. Complete the "Google Assistant Setup" process under the MusicCast app Settings menu to link all devices with your Connect ID account. You may need to create a new Connect ID account if you don't have one yet. 3. Set up the "Home control" under the Google Home app to work with Google Assistant. Select the "MusicCast Smart Home" Action from the list under the "Works with Google" menu and sign in to your Connect ID account to control your MusicCast devices.
