The Maytag Smart Appliances action lets you use Google Assistant and Google Home devices to control and monitor your Maytag® smart capable washer and dryer*. You can use Google Assistant to manage laundry from anywhere so no load is left behind. Control your laundry room no matter what you’ve got on your hands - Just ask Google Assistant! In order for this to work, you must already have installed and opened the Maytag™ mobile app, created and signed into a Maytag app account, and added your Maytag smart capable devices using the Maytag app.* Maytag Smart Appliances for Google Assistant works with select Wi-Fi enabled Maytag devices including select Maytag smart capable Washers and Dryers. See complete list of supported models at: https://www.maytag.com/connected-appliances.html To get started, in the Google Home app, use Home / Add / Setup Device / Works with Google to enter the Manage Accounts screen and search for and select the Maytag Smart Appliance action. When prompted, enter your Maytag Smart Appliance account login and password, and authorize Google to access your Maytag account. Shortly after, you will see a screen to assign your Maytag appliances to Rooms.
