The first incarnation of Arguments and Grievances began in St. Louis. Aiming to create an energetic and unique live comedy show, producers tapped local comedians to debate against each other in hopes of creating an endearing, if not a bit absurd, night of comedy.
Comedian Kevin O’Brien started Arguments and Grievances’ Denver series, garnering multiple awards and critical praise in the city’s nationally renowned comedy scene.
Upon realizing there was not a similar Arguments and Grievances show in Chicago, Kevin White and Zach Peterson ended the madness and started the Chicago incarnation in 2013. With the help of Goodrich Gevaart and Kevin Brody, Arguments and Grievances Chicago became the Arguments and Grievances Podcast on August 2nd, 2013, featuring debates such as “Batman vs. Spiderman”, “Dr. Dre vs. Dr. Seuss” and “Skateboaring vs. Water-boading”
